Gaziantep Menengiç Coffee has become the 29th geographical indication product from Turkey to be registered by the European Union (EU). Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır shared the news on his social media account, highlighting that Gaziantep Menengiç Coffee, with its natural aroma and unique flavor, has now joined the ranks of globally recognized flavors from Anatolia.
Minister Kacır emphasized that this significant development is a positive step for Gaziantep and Turkey, and reiterated their commitment to continue promoting local values on the global stage through the local development initiative. He also reaffirmed their determination to increase the brand value of geographical indication products.
